Antibes Old Town & City Center
The historic heart of Antibes is a maze of cobbled lanes, lively squares, and vibrant Provençal life. Here you’ll find the Marché Provençal, boutique shops, charming cafés, bistro terraces, and cultural highlights like the Picasso Museum, the medieval ramparts, and the postcard-worthy Safranier district. Vieil Antibes is a walkable area, making this the perfect base without a car, especially for a visit focused on food and sightseeing.
Three beaches are within walking distance: Plage de la Gravette just outside the walls, and the family-friendly Plage du Ponteil and Plage de la Salis further south. They’re compact but convenient, ideal for combining a day of exploring with a refreshing swim.

These places offer good value, quieter surroundings, or easy beach access, but they do sit farther from the historic center and Antibes’ main attractions. Still, depending on your travel style, they may suit you well.
Golfe-Juan
Golfe-Juan is the seaside part of the commune of Vallauris – Golfe-Juan, known for its pottery and Picasso heritage. It offers a relaxed marina vibe with restaurants and bars along the waterfront and a sandy bay that seamlessly connects to Juan-les-Pins. It’s a good alternative if you want to stay close to the beach, but still within a short hop to Antibes and Cannes.
There are some charming places to stay here, including La Bâtisse en Blanc, with a boutique feel close to the beachfront, and Blanc Sable Hôtel, a stylish base with a pool that’s family-friendly and affordable.
Villeneuve-Loubet
